Todowing

Todoist flattens sub-tasks in date and filter views, so a parent task and its children show up as unrelated rows. Todowing is a Chrome extension that nests them back under the parent in Today, Upcoming, Boards, Filters and Labels, up to four levels deep. Each sub-task row shows its own due date, priority and labels, and you can complete or reopen it without opening the task. It works with any Todoist plan, not only Pro.

The free tier covers every nesting feature with full row detail, up to 5 sub-task rows per top-level task, seven color palettes that re-tint Todoist, and a text-size slider from 85% to 200%. No account needed.

The $19.99 lifetime unlock removes the row limit and adds inline sub-task editing, focus sessions, time estimates, a hide-done toggle, a notes pad above Today, a font picker, read-only Apple Calendar events, and filing one task under a parent in another project without moving it. Runs in Chrome, in the Todoist web app and in a Todoist window installed as a Chrome app, not in the downloaded desktop app. Your Todoist API token stays in your browser and goes only to Todoist.
